“Buddy Box” focuses on social skills, an area of emotional intelligence (EQ) that helps build and strengthen relationships. Making and maintaining friendships helps deepen our social connections which positively impacts our mental health and happiness. Our EQ crew members join the “Buddy Box” to teach the importance of calming down in order to be an effective problem solver during social conflicts. “Buddy Box” provides kids the opportunity to recognize how their behavior affects others so they can better choose their words and actions, building lasting friendships along the way.
